Hi, I'm Regina.

My work tends to focus on artists who experiment with the emerging technologies of their time, tracing how such encounters shape art history. This work includes the education, exhibition, and preservation of complex and variable installations, often in collaboration with living artists.

I am Associate Curator of Media Arts at Museum of the Moving Image. I also teach in Columbia University's Film and Media Studies department and at NYU IMA.

In my spare time, as a Preventive Conservator of Variable Media, I advise artists, collectors, galleries, museums, and other arts organizations on how to preserve vulnerable works for future generations.

I have mentored at NEW INC for seven seasons, lecture and teach workshops globally, and somehow still find time for openings and movies.

ABOUT

About

At MoMI since 2022, I've organized Auriea Harvey's first museum survey, Lu Yang's debut solo museum exhibition in the United States, and Site Interruptions, networked commissions for the Museum's landing page. Through my consulting practice I've written preservation strategies for dozens of complex works, private collectors, museums, artist studios, galleries, and auction houses. I practice what I preach: this site runs on my own IPFS node.
